drumming for worshipers

Dick and Mary (and anyone else who might be interested)
I've been listening to some stuff from this past summer's worshipGod conference.  There were some breakout seminars that I thought the two of you might find helpful and i was hoping that you could listen to them.

The first is here: right click to download

It's called "drumming for worshipers"  clearly, Mary, you're not a drummer.  But the relationship between drums and bass is so fundamental, that I think that it would be helpful for you to hear it as well.  The next is "foundations for bass players."  Both of you could benefit from that one as well, I think.  I'll try to post that one tonight.

Dick, you've been doing a great job of late.  That syncopated part that you we worked on this past Sunday was great.  The good thing about changing stuff up like that is that it can give a song a new feel that can actually serve to bring people's focus to the lyrics in a different way.  It can be really helpful.  Thanks for your commitment to practice.  I think there are some helpful, practical tips on here that might enhance the practice time that you're already spending on your instrument.  Thanks again because you are a great example of Jordan's final point in this seminar - humility.
Enjoy - and post some thoughts once you have them.
