We're already into August - unbelievable. Thanks all for a great morning this past Sunday, once again.
This week we have Rich and Pat singing. And, along with them, Melanie Misiak has agreed to jump in for a morning! Welcome Melanie, good to have you up and running while you're back from school - even if it's only for one Sunday.
Okay - we have one flat out new song this week: Hallelujah to my King. It's by Paul Baloche from his Our God Saves album. Great album, by the way. I would highly recommend spending a few bucks to get it. We've already done three/four songs from it along with the new version of How Great Thou Art that we've been doing. Please everyone who is playing or singing this week - take the time to listen to this a few times. I uploaded the song file to the website and linked to it below. Please listen to it streaming but DO NOT DOWNLOAD from this link since it is copyrighted material. If you would like a permanent copy (which I would recommend) iTunes would be the place to go.
The lyric sheet, however, can be downloaded so that you can make yourselves familiar with the song. It would be GREAT if everyone were very comfortable with this by Sunday AM.
Praise God is SGM's version of the Doxology. Some of the timing is different and there are a few new verses as well. Take the time to listen and read through this one as well. Very important. Dick especially - there's going to be some rhythm stuff and some tom work that'll be very important for you to be familiar with.

thought I was good on this one. But still no music. I was able to get into Chad's iTune account and it looked like something downloaded. When I pushed play a little ball on a line moved but there was no sound. Any thoughts?Pat
turn your sound up? the ball on the line is the song playing, so you must just have the sound off.
nice work getting it downloaded, pat. that's most of the battle! :)
Sorry, no success. I did turn the sound up and the ball kept moving but no sound. I even got Chad on the case this morning and he couldn't get it to play.
Any other thoughts?
